Lisa Walker and myself worked with various community centres in the Vancouver area over the past two years. On March 8th it is International Women's Day and as part of this celebration we have been making posters with children, adults and seniors to celebrate women in their lives. The participants were remarkable themselves. It was just a nice way to commemorate all those hard-working moms, teachers, grandmas, friends and mentors.
