Last summer Art in the Park August 14th 2013

Our final project was to make owls out of recycled glass jars. I had various sizes and shapes. We used bits of fabric samples, google eyes, glue dots and rubber cement, pipe cleaners and feathers. They turned out quite cute.
This lil guy even got feet and a branch! We filled them up with bird seed and the kids can feed the birds come the fall and winter months.
I loved how each feather was cut out of fabric on this one, and his pipe cleaner feet. Andrew was at every Art in the Park session. It was great to have him.
These girls had their own ideas and created creatures with pompoms. Was a quieter day and it ended off with some rain. That concludes this session. I hope to plan some more fun crafty things in the fall and winter months. Thanks Gray's park and Little Mountain Neighbourhood Small Grant fund for making this happen.
