Beaded bracelets, candy cane ornaments, creatures from the imagination and beyond...
A glimpse at the growing process of learning and creating. It seems that progress is the best way to stay motivated. Inspiration comes from the smallest and strangest of ideas. Some of those ideas are frail and need to be worked upon to come into their own fruition, while other ideas are just experiences along the way. It is all my growing vocabulary.

Clay Time with the kids
Well another school year is coming to a close. Made some fun stuff with the school children from Septmeber of last year to June 2014. Here are a few of my favourites.
Make it Mondays - Roundhouse Community Centre
We did a family art night where we used India ink and tissue to make trees with blossoms. Then the kids put their own spin on it. This happens the third Monday of the month during the school year.
Drawdown Vancouver - workshop at Mount Pleasant Community Centre
Drawdown happens annually in Vancouver and I did an artist workshop this year at Mount Pleasant Community Centre. I lead the surrealist game called Exquisite Corpse where 3 people take part in making one drawing of a figure. No one can see what the other has done until it is revealed at the end. There were some really great drawings! On display for a few weeks.
